im looking to move to pennsylvania in april. im looking for the safest. and most beautiful part of pennsylvania. i want a place close to restaurants. and job opportunitys.if possible with a walmart nearby. and a place that is very safe. and beautiful.
Please help. i heard pittsburgh was very. high in crime. oh and a place with good transportation as i won't have a car. What is the best city in whole pennsylvania?
montgomery county is real nice. I know people that live in rockledge, willow grove, abbington, jenkintown, glenside, drexel hill...there're all nice places and all around the city.
Bucks County is ok if you are not in lower bucks...it's not bad here, but you can tell it's going to be in 10 years time. Delaware county is ok too. I know some people that live out in springfield and ridley park too not bad.
I would say montgomery county is the best though.
Don't leave out jersey in your search. they are meant to have good schools. but I hear their property taxes are real high.
NE Philly is actually the one of the best parts of the city.... But stay away from Philadelphia! I hate this city. I'm originally from Pittsburgh %26amp; I love it, but it also has it's bad parts. York and central PA are nice and also between Harrisburgh and Philadelphia there are some nice suburbs like Reading and Bryn Mawr. I love Pennsylvania. Traveling between Pittsburgh and York there are some beautiful areas too. The woods are very scenic and we also have our own grand canyon. (You can google the grand canyon of PA)What is the best city in whole pennsylvania?
I prefer Philly. It has so many unique restaurants, cultural events, and stores to offer that you won't ever want to look at a Walmart again. It has public transportation that can get you anywhere in the city and many places outside the city. I don't know Pittsburgh that well but just like any city, I'm sure it has nice areas. Don't believe what you see in the media and hear in the suburbs about how dangerous cities are. Crime can affect you anywhere, and you just have to use common sense.
Outside of Philly, say Ambler/ Fort Washington, Wayne area or Doylestown.
Pittsburgh is like any other major city, there are good places and bad. Philly is the same way, stay out of North East Philly if you want to live.
What is your budget? What are your job skills?
There are lots of nice areas in Philly, but not too many Walmarts. Transportation in town is decent. Public transportation can be hard to find in the suburbs.
Philadelphia..your options are endless...Farm land 10mins away..Downtown district..river fronts..sports teams...casinos , one of the best transportion systems in the country for getting around Philly and its suburbs..
I heard Bryn Mawr is pretty nice :)
Intercourse,PA. What a name like that, it must be cool.
