Best Restaurants Pittsburgh AOL CityGuide 2007:
http://cityguide.aol.com/pittsburgh/best鈥?/a>
It's cued to best restaurants in general, but you can choose your category on the left of the screen (pizza, Italian, cheap eats, hot dogs, romantic dining etc)
I like Girasole: http://733copeland.com/
Click the little sunflower on the bottom left of the home screen to navigate the site. Bring your own wine and pay only a $2 per person corkage fee (still winds up being way cheaper than getting a bottle of wine with dinner anywhere in town the way restaurants mark up wine.)
Menus vary by the season. Try the gnocchi, polenta or spinach/ricotta ravioli... or any specialty of the day. It's all good, have never had a bad meal here, desserts made fresh daily as well.
I Washington (which is very close to Pitt) there is a place called Monte Cello's. It has a buffet if your in a hurry and a actual sit down restuarant. What's a good restaurant around pittsburgh??
