Gourmet cupcake mixes & frosting?

Does anyone know of any good, cute, gourmet cupcake mixes that I can buy online? Also, I need a good chocolate frosting to go along with that.Gourmet cupcake mixes %26amp; frosting?
I'd have to agree with prior post about adding to a basic vanilla cupcake mix. Other suggestions would be adding lemon extract and zest, adding slivered almonds and almond extract or perhaps adding 1/2 cup of coconut and coconut extract. I'd add 1/2 teaspoon to a box of mix.

Here's my frosting recipe. Mix together using a mixer (hand one or stand one) 1 stick butter, 1 stick margarine, 2 cups confectioner's sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

When it is well blended slowly add 1/4 cup of milk. Mix until well blended again and then add 7 tablespoons of flour. You can add 1/2 cup of cocoa powder if you want to make chocolate buttercream instead.

The flour will make it thick without being sickly sweet like many buttercream recipes are. You can store the remainder in a plastic container and freeze it for future use.

Good luck!Gourmet cupcake mixes %26amp; frosting?
Cute cupcake mixes. What cute about a mix?

You don't need gourmet mixes. Yoiu can use a standard mix and add your own touch or find a good basic, white, and choc cake recipe from scratch and once you have it mastered you can start altering it little by little to mnake it yours.
