i was thinking of buying it for my cousin for her birthday because its soon. lol im known of giving her gifts that dont work, but i saw the commercial on tv, its pretty fun and looks like she might enjoy it..

Not sure about the cupcake maker, but I have the easy bake oven, which I still use. I think that would be more fun since it has more food items you can make besides cupcakes.

It looks stupid - microwaved cupcakes? Yuck - it looks like a bunch of small parts that will get easily lost. It's not cheap either. You didn't say how old your cousin is but if she's over 10 you could buy her some basic baking stuff.
