How to fix burn in berber rug?

A friend and I were burning old notes [from a guy I liked who recently screwed me over] in a metal cracker barrel not realizing the metal will get hot and melt a hole in my carpet -.-

so my mom gets home soon and there is a brown melted hole in the middle of my room. How can I fix this? Please be serious when answering this.

Berber is made from recycled plastic. The only thing you can do is get some scissors and carefully try to cut just the brown melted parts out of the carpet and maybe, just maybe that will be enough to make it not so noticeable.
