McDonald's defiantly, They are so healthy and they love their employees. / sarcasm
Take the jobs that pay highest.

Take a job that will give you experience on a resume and also to make more later. Lets say you start with Payless, you gain store management skills as opposed working for Mc Donalds. Mc donald on a resume wont do much for later higher employment, when you describe work on a resume.

Best is and I share it only with you:

Professional Babysitting/ home daycare: So this is a good one. A friend of mine, owned a home. She reorganized her home, bought toys for a babysit.

She took in 20 babies at the same time and daycared them. great long term job, once u build clients, ebcause people like your parents work all day and for years and they need those services You could do less babies and get more when experience grows. Each baby is about 10 per hour, so for 20 babies at the same time. It is like $200 per hour. 8 hours is 1600 per day. Could be cash. hey any mc donald job is more worse serving 100 clients and cooking for 100.

Reality she advertised in many newspapers, passed out flyers and library bulletin boards. Even if she had 10 babies for 3 days, her monthly income is already secured. Something to think off.I really need a job... Where should I apply?
Fdsfds F - Yeah that sounds like a great idea in theory but in reality it is not as easy as you make it sound. There are state licences you have to get, you can only have so many kids per licenced worker... Also remember that you are in charge of childrens lives... Its not all fun and games. You have to know first aid... There are MANY things that have to happen before you can open a daycare, and I doubt a 17 year old would be able do open a daycare anyways. Sorry.

I say put applications in at as many places as you can and hope that at least one of them calls you back for a job.

I know you have to be 18 to work at most retail places such as Jcpenney and I *think* you have to be 18 to work at pizza places. I mean I think if you are under 18 you can like be a dishwasher, hostess, waitress... but not actually cooking the pizza.
Not being funny, but apply for all of them. You can always turn some down if you need to, but I know people that have had to apply all summer for everything and not got a job.
You are right...

NOT MUCH SELECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! gosh... apply t every single place and then pick the most prefferable cos i assume u will get at least ONE reply from a list that HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!
